What is eQuest?

eQuesteQuest is CSU's service request software. It replaced the Remedy Help Desk application on July 1, 2008.

To submit a request for service

  1. Go to the eQuest login page
  2. Login using your CougarNet username and password
  3. Select the type of help you need. Choose from:
    • UITS Support (Computer)
    • Printing Services
    • Plant Operations
  4. Click the Submit Request icon in the middle of the screen.
  5. Fill out the request form.

Why change from Remedy?

The Remedy Help Desk application was introduced at CSU in 1997. Since then, enrollment has increased by 33% and the number of full-time faculty and staff is over 750. To better serve the growing needs of faculty, staff and students it is necessary to upgrade to a new system.

eQuest features and benefits

  • An easy-to-use web-based interface.
  • Ability to see campus-wide issues before submitting a request.
  • Users can edit and update their own requests.
  • Users can run their own reports.
  • Secretaries can view requests for the whole department.
  • E-mail correspondence is automatically added to the request details.
  • Each service department has a customized submission form.
